HearthTrades

HearthTrades ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") provides a platform that connects customers with independent contractors. By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

1. No Guarantee of Work Quality

HearthTrades does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any work performed by contractors. All services are provided by independent third parties.

2. Independent Contractors

All contractors using HearthTrades are independent and not employees, agents, or representatives of the Company. HearthTrades does not supervise, control, or direct the work performed.

3. No Liability for Damages

HearthTrades is not responsible or liable for:

  • Property damage
  • Personal injury
  • Financial loss
  • Poor workmanship
  • Delays or failure to complete a job

Any agreement or dispute is strictly between the customer and the contractor.

4. No Warranty

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Reliability or availability

5. Disputes Between Users

HearthTrades is not a party to any agreements made between users. We do not mediate or resolve disputes between customers and contractors.

6. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • Verifying contractor licenses, insurance, and qualifications
  • Conducting their own due diligence before hiring
  • Entering into clear agreements for services

7. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and creating an account or submitting a job request, you consent to receive SMS notifications from HearthTrades related to your account activity and contractor matches. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HearthTrades shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of the Platform.

9. Acknowledgment

By using HearthTrades, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these Terms of Service.
